Make the WRIGHT Choice for Town Council

Private-sector leadership. Cutting unnecessary government spending.

A Better Path for Huntertown

Huntertown is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

People choose this community because they value safety, opportunity, and a strong local economy.

Strong communities do not stay strong by accident. They require leadership willing to make hard decisions, manage growth responsibly, and respect the people who ultimately pay for every choice made at City Hall.

For me, that responsibility is guided by my faith. I believe leadership is a calling to serve others, act with integrity, and make decisions rooted in what is right, not what is easy.

Huntertown deserves a better path forward.

One grounded in common sense, accountability, and values that put people first.

My Story

I’ve lived in Huntertown for nearly 50 years. This is my home, not a political stepping stone.

I’m a third-generation factory worker and business owner. I understand what it means to meet payroll, build teams, and plan for the long term. I’m a welder by trade and a factory guy at heart.

In 2004, I helped grow Wirco Inc. from a 20-person operation into a multi-site, industry-leading company that now employs more than 155 people. That growth didn’t happen by chance. It came from discipline, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making.

My faith is central to who I am. As a Christian, I believe leadership is about humility, service, and doing what is right, even when it’s difficult. My faith shapes how I treat people, how I make decisions, and how I approach responsibility.

I earned my degree from Indiana University Bloomington in Environmental Science and Public Management. I’m a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul, Bishop Dwenger, and IU Bloomington.

My commitment to service goes beyond business. I served six years on the St. Vincent de Paul School Board, including as president. I’ve served on parish finance councils, boards for Catholic business leaders, and helped lead fundraising efforts for multiple local institutions.

I’m running for town council because I believe Huntertown needs leadership focused on service, integrity, and responsibility, not personal legacy.

Why I’m Running for Town Council

Huntertown is growing, but growth without a plan creates higher costs and bad decisions. We need leadership that slows down, looks at the numbers, and puts families first.

What’s Happening Now My plan for Huntertown
No clear plan
Growth guided by a clear strategy with defined milestones
Big projects, high costs
Decisions grounded in real numbers and financial responsibility
Spending without discipline
Spending that respects families and working people
Rising costs for families
Leadership that considers everyone, especially working families
Decisions driven by image or legacy
Decisions focused on serving the people of Huntertown

Smart Infrastructure, Real Numbers

Infrastructure decisions must be rooted in facts, not assumptions. I believe that major projects should be evaluated using clear cost comparisons, risk assessments, and long-term financial planning. Responsible infrastructure focuses on durability, value, and affordability. Taxpayers deserve transparency, realistic timelines, and leaders willing to ask hard questions before committing millions of dollars.

Respecting Taxpayers

The cost of living is already high. Local government should not make it worse. Removing waste, unnecessary spending, and poorly planned expenses is a responsibility, not an option. Every dollar spent should clearly serve the people of Huntertown. Fiscal responsibility means prioritizing what matters most and delivering real value to the community.

Supporting Local Growth

Strong communities grow with intention. I support affordable, strategic growth that strengthens Huntertown without pricing out families or overwhelming infrastructure. Growth should follow a clear plan with defined milestones, not vague promises. Local businesses and working families must remain at the center of every growth decision.

Core Priorities

1. Proven, Local Leadership

Huntertown needs leaders with real-world experience in business, team building, and strategic planning, not career politicians.

2. Public Safety First

The primary role of local government is to keep its people safe. Every decision should reinforce safety for families, neighborhoods, and workers.

3. Responsible Spending

Taxpayer dollars must be treated with respect. Eliminating waste and unnecessary expenses ensures the best value for residents.

4. Service to the People

Public office is about service, not admiration. Listening first and acting in the community’s best interest must guide every decision.
